Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how Al Azm Business Services Company ("Al-Azm", "we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit alazmbusiness.com or contact us through it, in line with the Sultanate of Oman's Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. 6/2022 and its Executive Regulations (Ministerial Decision No. 34/2024).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your data is Al Azm Business Services Company, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Our Personal Data Protection Officer can be reached at contact@alazmbusiness.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Data you give us through the site's forms: name, email, phone number, country, the type of consultation you need and the text of your message.
  • Technical data collected automatically to run and protect the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and strictly necessary cookies.
  • We do not currently use analytics or advertising tools on this site; if we add them in future, they will run only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
  • We do not ask for sensitive personal data through the site.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your enquiry, arrange a consultation or meeting and follow up on your request.
  • To prepare a proposal or service agreement when you ask for one.
  • To meet our legal obligations and keep the site secure.
  • To send marketing messages only if you have expressly agreed; you can unsubscribe at any time.

We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you submit a form after reading this policy, or where processing is otherwise permitted by law. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Who can see your data

Only the relevant members of the Al-Azm team can see your data. We use technology providers to host the site and run our client-management and email systems (such as Odoo and Google Workspace); they process data on our behalf under appropriate protection commitments. We never sell or rent your data, and we disclose it only where required by law or by a competent authority.

5. Transfers outside Oman

Some of our systems are hosted on servers outside the Sultanate of Oman. We transfer personal data outside Oman only with your explicit consent and to providers that offer a level of protection no lower than that required by Omani law.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiries that do not become engagements for no more than two years from the last contact, then delete or anonymise them. Client data is kept for as long as our contractual and legal obligations require.

7. Your rights

  • To withdraw your consent at any time.
  • To request a copy of your personal data and to receive it in a format that can be transferred to another controller.
  • To request correction, updating or erasure of your data.
  • To be informed of any breach affecting your data.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@alazmbusiness.com. We will respond within 45 days of receiving your written request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), need-to-know access and backups. If a breach is likely to affect your rights, we will notify the competent authority and, where required, you within 72 hours.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and remember your privacy choices. For details see our Cookie Policy; you can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of the page.
